The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox is looking to hire an entry level Sales Representative to help with season ticket, single ticket and group parties.
The Sales Representative position is seasonal and needs to be filled as soon as possible to begin the season and will run until mid-August. Candidates must be able to work day and evening hours, some weekends and holidays. The position is part time with minimum wage pay but includes commission on all sales. More Sales = More Pay!!
Duties will include:
- Use sales techniques to sell season, single, group tickets and sponsorship packages
- Develope new sales leads
- Outbound calls to sales leads
- Maintain call logs into Season Pro CRM
- Handle incoming calls from potential sales
- Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential clients
- Upsell clients
- Meet or exceed weekly goals
- All other duties assigned by General Manager
Qualification & Skills:
- Prior experience with sports industry preferred
- Sales experience-outbound sales calls a plus
- Goal oriented with a focus on achieving sales success
- Outstanding cutomer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral
- Flexible schedule
- High School Diploma
