MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: Josh Winkler’s 2-RBI single with two outs in the top of the 9th inning sent the Bears and Gold Sox into extra innings. Kalen Crisosto’s double in the 10th inning scored Dace Asher for the go-ahead run as the Yuba City Bears came from behind to beat the Marysville Gold Sox 5-4. Andrew Fuentes pitched three stellar innings of shutout ball to pick up the win for the Yuba City Bears.
“It was great to see such a good battle between Yuba City and Marysville. We’re looking forward to seeing them compete tomorrow night as well,” said VP/GM Michael Mink.
The series concludes Sunday at 6:05 as the Bears host the Gold Sox. The Yuba City Bears increased their lead in the Twin City Rivalry Series to 3 games to 1.
