MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: Marysville and Yuba City both lost on Thursday night as the Bears fell to the Portland Pickles and the Gold Sox dropped their game against the Medford Rogues. At Colusa Casino Stadium, Yuba City Bears 3rd baseman Josh Winkler hit a grand slam in the 7th inning to bring the Bears within a run but Yuba City ultimately fell 11-7. In Medford, Marysville lost the final game of their series 6-2
The stage is set for the final two games of the Twin City Rivalry Series on Friday and Saturday night between the Yuba City Bears and Marysville Gold Sox. One win in the final two games for the Gold Sox would clinch a series victory for Marysville as they league the series 6 games to 4. The Bears will look to earn a series tie with two wins. Both Friday and Saturday’s games are scheduled for 7:05 PM. A fireworks extravaganza presented by Feather Falls Casino Brewing Company will follow Saturday night’s game.
