MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Marysville Gold Sox will send four talented players to the Great West League All Star Game next week. “This is a great opportunity for these players,” says VP/GM Michael Mink, “These guys are very talented players and overall good people both on and off the field.”
The All Star team was announced yesterday by Great West League Commissioner, Ken Wilson. The four players include First Baseman Brock Ephan (Lewis-Clark State), Catcher Thomas Fuller (Yale), and Pitchers Cruz Daddario (Menlo) and Noah Sills (Lamar).
Fans can watch the All Star game on Monday, July 24, at Nettleton Stadium in Chico. It all starts with a Home-Run Hitting Contest at 5:15PM followed by the First Pitch at 7:05PM.
Groups with twenty or more people will receive free general admission to a game if they book a barbecue at Colusa Casino Stadium. Upgrades to different seating is possible for as little as $4.00. The ‘Pick 10, Pay for 5’ Deal is another July Special available for fans. When a fan purchases tickets to five Gold Sox games, they will receive tickets to five Bears games as well and vice versa.
