MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: Great West League commissioner, Ken Wilson, has just announced the 2017 All-Great West team and league individual awards. “We had great players on our team this year” says VP/GM Michael Mink, “it’s great that these guys are being recognized for all the hard work they’ve put on the field.”
First Baseman Brock Ephan (Lewis & Clark State) was chosen as part of the All-GWL First Team, while pitchers, Noah Sills (Lamar) and Sam Leach (Northern Colorado) were chosen to be a part of the All-GWL Second Team. “We’re very proud of Brock for making the ALL-GWL First Team” says Mink, “He, Noah, and Sam have shown great strength on field and all deserve this honor.”
Tom Fuller (Yale University), Devin Pettengill (UC Irvine), Jason Dicochea (Santa Clara), Cole Van Den Helder (Oregon), Casey O’Sullivan (San Diego State), and Cruz Daddario (Menlo College) were given an Honorable Mention for the 2017 season.
