Gold Sox Help Community in Time of Need

MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: With the devastating fires surrounding our area, the Marysville Gold Sox and Yuba City Bears have taken an initiative to donate to displaced families. “These are our people,” says VP/GM Michael Mink, “We want everyone to know that we are here for them in their time of need and we will do whatever we can to help.”
The teams have gathered various new clothes to give to displaced families who are currently seeking shelter at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds. Around one hundred pieces of clothing are being donated in their name. Our hope here is to ease at least some of the burden put on these families by the fires.
For more information about how to donate and what items are needed most, visit the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds’ Facebook Page.
